I’ve never been to a circus. So I was thrilled when the UniverSoul circus invited me to party under the big top for Social Media Night.
I brought along some family and friends, and we jammed to the latest hip hop and the best old school jams. I truly never expected the circus to be so hip.
It was so much fun, and I did not want to miss the opportunity to to wear something flashy. So I paired this gold body suit under a skirt that I got from the flagship Marshall’s in NYC during Full Figure Fashion Week.
There were all kinds of acts, from a trapeze group to hip hop clowns, but the elephants were my favorite. I was also impressed by the zebras and tigers, and a lil’ scared too. During the three hour show there had to have been over 10 acts, but each moment was very exciting. In between acts the ringmaster kept things hype, and there were elephant rides for the kiddos. Although, I saw some pretty big kids on those poor elephants, it was still super-cool. The show ended with a Black Lives Matter tribute, and I was pleased.
Oh man, I can’t remember the last time I went to the circus…
This looks like such a blast and how cool that they invited you all to see them!

I might need to go to the UniverSOUL Circus when they come back. I used to go every year but I stopped because the acts seemed a little lack luster the last time I went. Maybe it was just an off year though! Glad you enjoyed yourself!
