Palm prints have definitely been all the rage this year. With all the beautiful prints available, I knew I had to find something for myself.

It took me forever to find a good piece for myself. Everything hot was almost always sold out immediately, or the fit was off…

I thought I was going to miss the boat for this hot print, until I found this bright jersey. It was so colorful and in a great jersey material–perfect for summer.

I paired it with a Eloquii cage skirt that I got via GwynnieBee, making it a nice breezy combo for a summer day.

I learned a lot through being frustrated about the pieces that did not work.  It was like a grand chapter in the evolution of how I will shop going forward–pretty deep, right?! I know, I get sooo deep. LOL

But real talk: The hunt for a functional palm print also taught me lessons about dressing for my body.  Everything is certainly not for everybody.  As a plus size gal, I should know this. Sometimes, though, I just want to get in on a trend by any means necessary. I’ll search high and low, with no return. It’s always right when I give up that I’m in the store shopping, and BOOM: there it is.
