Last weekend, I had the honer of meeting the owner of Honey’s Child Boutique, Letitia McPherson Young, at her debut fashion show.

It was a live, interactive lookbook for her 2017 swimwear and resort line on top of the Anew rooftop, which offered an amazing view of the Midtown area.

The models slayed amazing summer looks well into the sunset. As we sipped cocktails and enjoyed treats from the bar.

There were many local personalities and guests from all over the country int he building.

Like the host, Marie Denee, of The Curvy Fashionista, an Atlanta-based industry leading blogger in the plus size industry.

The Fat Girl of Fashion, of Chicago, graced us with her presence.

SeriusXM radio host, Miko, was also in the building.

Liv and Kiss designer, Whitney Jones, sported one of her designs on the rooftop.

It was a star-studded event for sure, and so much fun!

For this event I went ahead and I together out of my own closet: an old Ashley Stewart floating top and sleeveless, black shift dress from forever 21 with Payless shoes. The bag was vintage!

I’d been contemplating this look for a while. I had these pieces just sitting on my clothing rack,; they seemed seemed perfectly made for each other!

I tucked the floating crop top into my Spanx and turned the dress around backwards to give my back a plunge, instead of my cleavage.

I felt rather snatched, if I do say so myself.

It was a super fun, saucy look!
