So I was coolin’ on a Sunday afternoon after church and a long afternoon of meetings. There is just so much to do these days, and I am so busy all the time. So I packed a shirt in my bag to take me into the night.
I really liked the structured element that my Aftermarket Beauty Berkin Inspired Bag and peplum top from Wet Seal brought to this look. It is perfect for both the office or morning at church. However, it is a bit stuffy-looking, so I wanted to put on my Forever21 embroidered cami to put me in the mood for date night.
Side note: I really love these boots from Torrid, but I wish that they actually came above the knee… well, they do, but I have to literally pull them up every five minutes. My legs are not that big, and it was a little disappointing that they weren’t more structured. I think these boots may get a little slouchy after a while, but I digress…
I paired all of this with my zipper skirt from Ashely Stewart, which I actually got back in the spring. I am starting to see these skirts everywhere, and I am glad to get some good wear out of it!
I love the zipper detail, mostly because it is actually functional–it unzips from both the top and the bottom for easy access… just kidding!
