I personally used an existing, empty gift basket. It’s stuffed with cardboard and green confetti, with a cute ornament hanging from it.
I added scented pine cones ( from Shnucks), and I’ll also add a few tumblers and winter scarves and hats to the basket before I gift it.
I would say that the only thing missing from this basket might be some locally brewed beer, and of course some other delicacies that will not hold up in the basket, like cooked food.
I also recommend adding a gift card to a favorite local restaurant, like IMOs or Sugarfire.
