If you’re anything like me, you love prints. And, a staple print for this season – or any season really – is plaid. With a big wave of 90s trends returning, we’re seeing it from the runways to the streets. 

From plaid flannel shirts to plaid scarves, it’s almost impossible to go wrong and so easy to layer into your everyday looks. So, it’s only appropriate that I round up some of my favorite pieces for plus size silhouettes.

Sherpa: This comfy-cozy fabric is seen everywhere. It has slowly taken over as a must-have trendy texture to add to your collection. Everyone has those standard plaid flannel shirts, but Fashionnova switches it up, incorporating the material to give you a killer look.

This item is the perfect layer to put on for chilly commutes and weekend chilling. If  you don’t recognize this next piece by it’s name, then I’ll describe it as a cross between a poncho and a cardigan. This ruana can be found at Torrid.

While it may not cross your mind to shop in the clothes section of Walmart, this next piece is one of those things you can’t pass up. You can be hit a few trends in this cold shoulder plaid shirt. 

Now, I’ll finish off this list with a two piece plaid ensemble that hugs those curves in the right places. You can really turn up the playfulness in this piece from Forever21.
