A black and white color palette is both trendy and classic. It was also all over the runways at NYFW 2k15. So, when I saw this Taylor Geometric Shift Dress in ivory and black on Gwynnie Bee, I had to put it in my closet!
I signed up to receive two items per month, and I think that’ll satisfy my itch for a while. I am really loving the idea of renting good quality clothing, then exchanging them for another hot item.
I cannot wait to try different brands that I have been eyeballing, and style them with pieces I already own. This dress right here is perfect for both the office and other adventures. I love the geometric shapes and detailing!
I paired this with some Lace-Up heels, and a statement necklace from Rainbow. I am keeping this look simple here, but I can see myself wearing it with some tights and booties, or something…
I’ll continue to share my rentals whenever I receive a new item from Gwynnie Bee. If you are on the fence about trying the service, just do it! If you aren’t impressed, cancel your plan – it’s simple!
Oh this is a great way to try new clothes/trends!
And you’re right, this dress does indeed look good on you 🙂

Thanks, love! I know there’s also Rent The Runway, but I wonder if they have anything else for straight sizes – all my friends are so jelly and want to try too!!

Very nice look on you! It has a slimming appeal. I’ll have to check it out.

Thanks! I do opt for a shift dress, as it flatters my figure! They are totally worth it for those events when you “have nothing to wear.”

I was totally stunned in amazement. I had to take a second look because I couldn’t believe it was you in the pics. It is definitely a GREAT look!!!! I’ve been hesitant to wear a shift because of my hideously large hips, but you’re making me rethink it. 🙂
