“Who says that my dreams have to stay just dreams?” – Ariel
I’m here to bring you another super fun DIY Halloween look featuring Premme and a few tricks I had up my sleeve.
This magical mermaid look was super easy: I paired this beautiful paperbag pleated skirt with several pieces from inside my closet.
Here’s what you’ll need:
-This skirt from Premme.us
-Shirt of your choice
-Seashell sequins
-Sequins or gems for style
-Fabric glue
-Colorful bra of your choice
To get started, I did have to work a little DIY magic into my top to make it work. I wanted to glam it up and make this look as festive for the holiday as possible. So I added some sequins patches and sequins to an old mesh shirt.
I had some difficulty finding patches that would work for this look that were bigger than two inches by two inches. So, I got creative and got a shirt via Amazon Prime that would fill that void.
I had to carefully cut the patches from the shirt they were sewed on in order to transfer them to my shirt. And, I ended up sewing them onto my mesh shirt. However, in retrospect, I should have just glued them down—it would have been so much easier!
To make the area of coverage a little bigger, and for flair, I added some sequins underneath the shells. I applied the gems with fabric glue.

I paired this look with some fun makeup and a red wig, and I was good to go! By the way, the makeup is from Mary Kay. I didn’t have lippy on yet in the picture below, but the cream eye shadows, blush and mascara I used were a dream. (I’ll be talking more about those in a later post.)
The best thing about all this look is that it;s super easy to achieve and all these pieces can reach your doorstep in time for Halloween night festivities. So what are you waiting for?
xo,
I really like this! A pretty party outfit, Halloween or not!
